Rosemary Anne Morgan born Palmerston North. Outlines family background. Recalls being a boarder at Queen Margaret's College Wellington, training as a dental nurse and getting a job at Waihi School as school dental nurse in 1946. Gives early impressions of Waihi at that time - felt it was a town in decline. Talks about improvements to town. Discusses involvement in Waihi as a result of husband [Owen Morgan] being Mayor for twelve years, describing a day of duties. Also mentions that husband's father was Director of the School of Mines. Talks about involvement with the Waihi Museum as curator. Mentions Depression and explains how it affected a number of people including professionals.
