An unidentified man with sheepdog is standing in front of a fence and hedge behind which a single-storeyed farmhouse is partially hidden. Outbuildings nearer the camera include a large barn on the right of the house. Shelter belts of trees behind and on the far left. Tussock hills behind and snow-capped mountains in the far left and far right backgrounds. Taken by Robert Percy Moore.
