Photographic postcard shows Guide Rangi wearing a cloak, headband and flax skirt, standing with bare feet beside a hot pool at Whakarewarewa. She has autographed the card at top left: "Arohanui, Guide Rangi".
The verso shows a printed illustrative image of a tree fern, and states that the card was printed in England, and published by Tanner Bros Ltd, Wellington NZ, as postcard number 2896.
