Three vignettes consider the subject of 'workaholism': A woman suggests her husband is working late because of his attractive young secretary, and brings him a replacement who is just the opposite; a man begs his employer to make him a decent redundancy offer, in order to cure his workaholism; and a man laments the fact that the unions have convinced employers to extend the retirement age, thereby keeping him at work
