Includes a letter from Herries Beattie relating to Rakaihautu and a copy of the 'Journal of Polynesian Society' (extract from Vol. XXXI. No. 4). Also includes two other copies of JPS, Vol. XXIX. No. 4 (titled 'Ngau-Taringa') and Vol. XIX. No. 2. (titled 'The breadfruit-tree in Maori tradition). Also includes a copy of 'National Education' the Journal of the New Zealand Educational Institute, October 1, 1941. Also includes other drafts and clippings.
