Poster advertising flights across the Tasman shows a tall carved Maori pole, superimposed by the stylised TEAL logo, flying towards the left. At bottom left is an illustration of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, across a stretch of water.
The BCPA (British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines), established in 1946, was liquidated in May 1954. BCPA's three DC-6 plans were sold to TEAL, with the trans-Pacific route being taken over by Qantas.
Photograph at WA-20398-F has been identified by his son, as showing artist George Moore working on this poster.
