Description

An interviewer questions the Prime Minister, John Key, on the reaction to the proposed asset sales by the international money and investment markets, the equity sector and the banks. Key replies in the affirmative for all but banks, of which he simply says 'He's got no option!'

'Banks', in John Key's mind, means not only the banking sector, but also the discredited leader of ACT, John Banks, who is completely dependant on the goodwill of Key and Cabinet to stay as a part of Government.
