The scene shows 'The Great Candidate Spectacular' as four people perform tricks onstage to an audience below. A magician causes doves representing 'prosperity' to fly from his top hat, a second magician pulls strings of coloured handkerchiefs representing 'jobs' from his sleeve, a pretty girl sets a sign reading 'debt' on fire and a moustachioed gentleman saws in half a man inside a box labelled 'crime'. Context: The acts are all concerned with various promises about increasing prosperity and jobs and decreasing debt and crime made by politicians during the political campaign leading to the 2011 election on 26th November.
