An advertisement for Anchor butter shows a partly opening packet of butter on a table in the foreground. The 2-ounce cutting marks can been seen printed on the paper wrapper. On either side are potted chrysanthemum plants, and beyond is a multi-paned window through which can be seen a sunny tree-lined pasture on which seven cows are standing. There is a stylised anchor logo at lower right.
