Description

A thatched-roofed house with chimneys at both ends and an outhouse on the left, in a landscape cleared of trees in the foreground and with bush beyond the house. The station of Hugh Morrison (or Morison), initially called Hakeke, later Glenmorven, near the present site of Martinborough. The farmer, his wife and a dog are in front of the house.
