Description

A middle-aged man and a student survey the wreckage of an 'Undie 500' van. The older man says that his generation fought to end racist tours and wonders what the younger man has done. The younger man was too drunk to remember. Refers to the mayhem and destruction caused by drunken students from Otago and Canterbury Universities after the 'Undie 500' car rally. The Mayor of Dunedin called it a 'day of shame'. The students will face charges from the police and will also face the University disciplinary committee.
