More child abuse. More dog attacks. "Certainly keeps you on edge... The possibility that whoever thought of the Anti-smacking and Microchipping Bills might come up with another idea..." "Well, back to the drawing board!" "How about not smacking dogs and microchipping for parents?" 11 August, 2007

- Description
Two men are having a drink in the pub and are discussing the news items about more child abuse and more dog attacks that are in the newspaper that one of them is reading. One of the men is bemused by the fact that the Anti-smacking and Dog Microchipping Bills seem to have had little effect on child abuse and dog attacks and he wonders what the next Bill will be. In the bottom corner in a tiny cameo two men get back to the drawing board because of these failures. One of them suggests microchipping parents and not smacking dogs. Refers to the high interest in the death of Nia Glassie at the hands of her family and the mauling of a small child by a dog in a park.
