Hirawanu Tapu and Rohana Tapu outside their home at Manukau, Chatham Islands, taken before the death of Hirawanu in 1900, by an unknown photographer.
The house appears in an earlier portrait which appears on page 124 of "Moriori" by Michael King (1989).
