Description

War memorial and fountain in the grounds of the sanatorium at Rotorua (Government Gardens). Shows a statue of Fred W Wylie, of Galatea, who went to the South African war with the 4th NZ Contingent. A woman is sitting on park bench close by with a leather satchel at her feet. Photograph taken by William A Price 10 Jan 1908.
