The collection contains material relating to a play by Hall called `Mr Punch, the life and poetry of Denis Glover'. The papers include correspondence with Rupert Glover and others regarding the writing of `Mr Punch'; typescript drafts; research material and a tape of a 1980 Radio New Zealand Insight interview with Denis Glover. The play was first performed at the Fortune Theatre, Dunedin in 1989.
