A group of two men and a woman in the foreground with a horse-drawn cart carrying goldmining tools and household utensils (a pot and a kettle are hanging from the cart). A dog to their right. Ahead of them, a long trail of covered wagons, horses and bullocks, riders and walkers moving towards a plain ringed with hills. The scene may be intended for Australia or New Zealand.
One of a set of six lithographs about colonial goldmining. Two are clearly set in Australia, one in New Zealand. This particular view could be from either country.
