In four frames Co-leaders of the Maori Party Pita Sharples and Tariana Turia try to get their recalcitrant dog (MP Hone Harawira) to 'resign', 'sit', or come to 'heel' but all the dog will do is stay so they decide the situation is hopeless and all they can do is have him stay. Refers to the unofficial sidetrip taken by Harawira and his wife to Paris while in Europe at tax-payers' expense. Hone Harawira was widely criticised for this as well as his use of foul language and strong anti-Pakeha comments in an email. This has led to embarrassment for the Maori Party and the question of how Hone Harawira should be disciplined. If he is expelled he would continue as an independent in the Tai Tokorau electorate.
