Middleton, Walter Maitland, 1903-1978 : Autobiography

Semi-autobiographical manuscript written by Walter Middleton describing his life mostly in the King Country and Taranaki region including Waitara, Te Kuiti, Taumarunui, Awakino etc in the 1930s; he writes of his life as a travelling salesman and describes the people he met during his work and leisure pursuits. He includes his relationship with one woman, who died of meningitis. He also enjoyed hunting and describes various hunting expeditions and the guns he used.
