- Description
Includes a block plan showing the relative positions of the school, the residence, and the outbuildings. Also includes a floor plan, elevations and section of a wooden one-room school with an entrance corridor, chimney, and iron roofing. Plan notes that a new water tank was to be added, flooring was to be made good, there was to be a new ceiling and joists, and the galleries were to be removed. The corridor was also to be relined.
Collected by architect Martin Hill as part of Project 787.
Dated around 1890, because that is the year in which the shingle roof was replaced with a new iron roof, and an iron roof is shown on the north elevation. It is possible the plans date from slightly later.
Quantity: 2 plan(s).
