Description

Shows the American musical satirist Frank Zappa, seated on a toilet. The toilet lid shows the words "Till death us do part".

The image is likely to have been based on a 1967 photograph of Zappa by British photographer Robert Davidson.

Frank Zappa visited New Zealand in the mid-1970s, and this poster may have been produced to coincide with this visit.

Luminous inks were used on posters in the 1970s (See Nambassa Festival poster Eph-D-MUSIC-Popular-1978).
