Many scenes show aspects of life in Egypt; several views of the Handley Page V/1500 known as "Old Carthusian"; planes that have crashed; ships in Suez Canal; long convoys of horse-drawn gun-carriages; huge numbers of camels, and camel cavalry; groups of simple wooden crosses on battlefields, some of which have names and dates that are legible (names listed above); Chapelle de Matarieh; mosques and Coptic churches; and costume worn by different groups of Egyptian people.
