Album contains coloured photographs with views of New Zealand, and some unlabelled family photographs, taken by Dr Ken Birrell, circa 1950s. Images also include three of Oregon and the Oregon State University. New Zealand views are concentrated mainly in the Wellington area including the Wairarapa, Milford Sound and the Dunedin area. Note handwritten at top right-hand corner of the cover reads "Aerial. Qtn-Milford 1957 & Chch-Qtn. (Air & bus)"
