Group of three men, two European and one Maori, with a dog on the Otaki River. Photograph taken between 1886 and 1888 by Wrigglesworth & Binns of Wellington. Native forest and palm trees may be seen on the opposite bank.
The same three men appear in PA1-f-239-27. This photograph was probably taken on the same canoeing expedition, and is one of a sequence of views in the Otaki region probably taken on the same visit to the area.
