Description

Shows small storehouse on two stout poles about 10 feet high, with a notched pole used as a ladder between them. Beneath the house are bags of food, and a Maori pounds stick on a block. Another stands at bottom of ladder. In the background two figures sit by a cooking pot outside a whare, and a dog roams in front of them. At right is a fence with carved posts. The tallest post depicts a carved humanoid figure smoking a pipe.
