Description

Title continues:`...recollections of an ambulance driver.' Ball describes his experiences as an ambulance driver during the Italian campaign of World War II; he writes of arriving in the Middle East and Italy and describes the various operations and duties he took part in. The memoirs hae been edited by his daughter, Shirley Fairest, who has included photographs from the War History Collection of the Turnbull Library and a map showing the battle plan for the Po Valley.
