Queens Wharf area and Customhouse Quay, Wellington, circa late 1860s. Buildings, from left to right are: Queens Bond, Pier Hotel, Customs House (with time ball) and telegraph office. The Prince of Wales Hotel is just visble in the background. Photographer unidentified.

Note on back of file print reads "Some time after 1866-67 because C R [unreadable] brick wall running right from base of whaf was built then (GDA)"
