Description

A frontal view of a Maori man with a moko pattern of small parallel lines at right-angles to one another. He is holding a mere and wearing a tiki on round beads, and a tag-style cloak, with tufts, rather than long tags. He wears four feathers in a headband at the front of his head

The source of this image is not known. There are no known drawing of moko in this style by European artists
