Group of four men pulling a waka laden with camping equipment through a rapid on the Otaki River. Photograph taken between 1886 and 1888 by Wrigglesworth & Binns of Wellington. A dog is standing on the near bank.

The same four men appear in PA1-f-239-29. This photograph was probably taken on the same canoeing expedition, and is one of a sequence of views in the Otaki region probably taken on the same visit to the area.
