Since 2011, the region's top performance poets have competed for the chance to be crowned Wellington's Poetry Slam Champion and head to the national champs.

Come to the National Library for the annual Wellington Poetry Slam Champs and see the region's finest performance poets on stage. As part of the audience you'll get to judge who should represent Te Whanganui-a-Tara at the 2023 National Champs.
