At this first meeting, we'll introduce ourselves, set the scene for our learning community, and share resources and ideas to help you get started in your new role. Make sure you've already joined our community so we can send you a Zoom invite!

Who this meeting is for

Staff who are new to a role within the school library, such as:

  • school librarians

  • library assistants

  • teachers with library responsibility

  • anyone providing school library services to students and staff.

Join our online learning community first

You first need to join our online learning community so we have your email address to send your Zoom invite.

What we'll be doing

In this first meeting, we'll:

  • get to know each other

  • set the scene for this learning community — what we have planned, when and how we'll keep in touch

  • share some useful resources to help you get started in your school library.

Getting ready for this meeting

Get ready to Zoom!

Bring things to share

This meeting will be a chance for everyone in the learning community to meet and hear from one another.
