Rarely seen footage

This nostalgic compilation features unique and recently preserved footage of Wellington — from the seat of Government to ‘the coolest little capital’. Covering the period from 1900 to 1966, a real highlight of this compilation is the rarely seen footage from the 1940 Centennial Exhibition in Rongotai.
