Find out about the Te Puna Foundation donations refund policy.
The Te Puna Foundation asks that you make your choice to donate carefully and to check donations amounts during transactions. We are grateful for your donation and support of the National Library of New Zealand.
The Te Puna Foundation doesn't normally refund donations. If you made an error or there has been a bank error, please notify Te Puna Foundation and request a refund within 30 days after the time the error occurred.
We are a non-profit organisation, and we reserve the right to deduct bank or transaction charges from any refund we process.
If Te Puna Foundation or our processes are the cause of the error, we will provide a full refund and all transaction charges will be borne by the Foundation.
Request a refund
All requests for a refund must be made in writing. Please provide details of:
- the nature of the error (with confirmation of the mistake from your bank, in the case of a bank error), and
- include a copy of your Te Puna Foundation receipt.
If you do not have a copy of your receipt, please give details of the initial donation, including the date, amount and name of the donor.
If we approve the refund, the original receipt issued becomes void and invalid. We will issue a new receipt where applicable.
