Brisbane Queensland 1885 shows a large domed building, the Parliament House, surrounded by trees
Sydney 1885 shows a farm shed or barn in a clearing, with tree stumps at the left
Melbourne 1885 shows a street scene with houses, trees and two church buildings
Honolulu Sandwich Islands shows palm trees and two shelters or huts
These four watercolours were painted by either William or and John Doubleday from 1884-85 while they were travelling around the world - on doctor's orders to cure lung infections.
