Provenance: The first accession of papers had been given to the University of Auckland with other materials from Dorothea Franchi's estate; the university decided these papers should come to the Turnbull Library.
The second accession was bequeathed by Dorothea Franchi and deposited in the Library by Mr Tony Franchi.
