The photograph strip inside the flap contains 12 views of: an aerial view of Wellington and harbour, Parliament Buildings, Citizens' War Memorial, Wellington from Mt Victoria, Botanical Gardens, City and Harbour, Carillon, Days Bay, National Museum and Art Gallery, Railway Station, Beach at Oriental Bay, Jubilee Floating Dock. Description: Postcard shows an illustration of silhouettes of a couple embracing in the back window of a motorcar, under a moon smiling over a city street. The "boot" of the car opens to reveal a strip of photographs of Wellington: Newtown Park, Lambton Quay, wharves, Town Hall, Karori [reservoir], Cuba Street, Lyall Bay, Willis Street, Orinetal Bay, and the Gardens. Quantity: 1 colour photo-mechanical print(s). Physical Description: Photolithograph on card 141 x 90 mm, with attached photo strip 245 x 41 mm. Provenance: Purchased from Antiquarian Art, Lower Hutt, in May 2015.

Description: Envelope front shows two Wellington scenes: the upper one shows a view of the waterfront and wharves, and the lower one shows a colonnaded town hall with domed tower. The verso shows a circular logo, with a map of New Zealand on a globe, and the words "Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men" around the circumference. The tower of the Town Hall was removed in 1932, so this envelope predates 1932. The message on the verso "Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men" may indicate a date post-1918. Quantity: 1 colour art print(s). Physical Description: Engraving, navy on cream envelope, 89 x 147 mm. Provenance: Purchased from Complete Stamp Company, Auckland, in 2013.
