Comprises material gathered by Anthony Norton during the course of building a collection of 8000+ New Zealand vinyl disc recordings which was purchased by the Library in 2019. Includes:

- Posters advertising New Zealand concerts and records (1980s-2000s)

- Posters from concerts in recent years at the Boathouse (Nelson), many signed by musicians and singers, most laminated

- Other ephemera

- Unpublished lacquer discs, mainly radio advertisements

- Memorabilia, clippings, ephemera, publicity copy photoprints, magazines relating to Split Enz and Crowded House

- Copy of 'Stranger than Fiction: The Life and Times of Split Enz' signed by most members

- Script of 'Boy', a 1973 musical written and performed by pupils of Northland College (Kaikohe?), concerning a young Māori man moving to Auckland

- Other manuscript material relating to the collection

- Excel spreadsheet of the published record collection created by Anthony Norton, including metadata, market price information and prices paid.

Provenance: Collection was gathered together by the donor as part of his record collecting activity (late 1990s to 2019). Material came from various sources, including other collectors, and Trademe and similar websites. Split Enz material was acquired from a single Trademe vendor over the course of several auctions.

Transfers: Donor's collection of published records and other published material has been transferred to the New Zealand and Pacific Published Collection..
