Description: Photographic prints, chiefly portraits, relating to Mary Allan Ronnie, taken between circa 1886 and 1996 by a range of photographers. A number of images from Scotland show Ronnie's parents, Mary (nee Allan) and William Allandyce Ronnie, including individual portraits and their wedding photos. School photos show Ronnie's mother Mary at Kilmarnock Academy and Newmilns School. Maternal grandparents Robert Allan and Mary Campbell Allan, their son Robert and daughters Margaret, Agnes and Catherine, as well as paternal grandparents James and Marion Ronnie are also shown. Ronnie herself is photographed as a baby and at Napiershall Street School in Glasgow. Images from New Zealand show Ronnie on her 21st birthday with her brother James and mother, two images taken at the Dunedin Public Library (one includes A H Reed and Jeanie Johnston), Ronnie being awarded the Queen's Service Order circa 1982, and a 1996 anniversary at Otago Girls' High School. Description: Photographs relating to Amy Elizabeth Unwin (nee Wright) and William Unwin, Harry Unwin's early life, marriage to Joyce Stairman, and service in World War II. Taken by a range of photographers, many of whom are unidentified, circa 1900s-1978. Contains photographs relating to William Unwin's service in World War I, including group portrait of military band and postcard of Trentham Military Camp in 1916. Contains some images that may show Amy Elizabeth Unwin, Harry's mother, on a bush walk with Harry and one of his sisters and a portrait used for a Christmas card showing a man [possibly William?] holding up an unidentified toddler [Unwin's sister?]. Includes 1978 image of the grave stone of Amy Elizabeth Hunter (Unwin's mother married Frederick Hunter in 1923). Images relating to Unwin's Petone upbringing include an aerial photograph of Petone (taken by Gladys Goodall) and Unwin in the standard II class photo at Petone West School in 1919. Also contains a group portrait of children with Father Christmas. A number of images show a weatherboard house [family home?]. Description: Photographic prints, possibly relating to the McGregor family, of a range of subjects, mainly taken ca 1940s. Portraits include three photographs of twins at different stages of childhood, ca 1890s, two World War I era portraits (one of a woman, the other of a man in uniform), and portraits from the 1940s. Also contains an image of a family group, possible with W H Brown at the centre, and an image of an elderly man, possibly of W H Brown, holding his military discharge papers. World War II photographs include soldiers in uniform, Royal New Zealand Air Force base in the New Hebrides (later Vanuatu) and scenic island images, and an unidentified RNZAF sports team from the base. Individuals are identified on the rear of two group images. Two further photographs, one of a crowd during a ceremony and the other of men in a dining hall, have the name J McGregor on the rear of the print.
