Description: Collection comprises one folder of ephemera relating to tourist attractions in Rotorua, Wellington, and Tongariro National Park. Includes: - Circular grey adhesive label published by the Tourist Hotel Corporation (THC). Shows an illustration in pink and white of the Chateau building with a plume of smoke rising from Mt Ngāuruhoe in the distance. The THC logo is at centre right. - Yellow tourist attraction ticket stub, produced by the New Zealand Government Tourist Bureau. Text on the stub reads "WELLINGTON SIGHTSEEING (By Motor Coach)". Ink stamped onto the ticket reads "S.S. IBERIA; 25 Jan[uary] 1960". - Small booklet advertising tourist destinations in Rotorua. Text on the card reads "I've got one leg in and look forward to a good time at ROTORUA". Image on the booklet shows a tekoteko caving performing a pūkana. In front of the tekoteko stands a tourist with luggage mimicking the pūkana. The booklet opens with an accordion fold and shows colour images of Rotorua sites. - Small booklet of photographic prints, advertising Rainbow Springs park, Rotorua. Titled "Electric Photos of Rainbow Springs by Lon Dalton, Rotorua". Prints in the booklet open with an accordion fold and are held together with perforations. Title supplied by Library.
