Description: Cartoon by Ronald Edwin Kennedy depicting a man looking concerned as he reads a newspaper with the headline "All Blacks defeated". The dog character sits at his feet and turns round to say "Hush" to Jack Marshall, leader of the National party, holding a placard which reads "Please vote for me" and Norman Kirk, leader of the Labour party, holding a set of speech notes. Marshall and Kirk both look surprised. Probably refers to when a Welsh rugby team Llanelli beat the All Blacks on 31 October 1972 during the lead up to the November 1972 general election.
