Many show buildings in Dunedin, including one house `Lisburn House' built for the Fulton family in 1865; also commercial buildings, church buildings, school buildings (Otago Boys' High School), and Dunedin Gaol. The church buildings include the Chapel in Leith Street, the Chapel in Great King Street, and the Baptist Chapel. Description: Transparencies of woolsheds in New Zealand, taken by Geoffrey Thornton or Jocelyn Thornton. Each slide mount is annotated with the location, and sometimes the date of construction, of the woolshed. Dates and photographer name are sometimes annotated. Title supplied by Library. Slides are not dated. Arrangement: Transparencies were arranged in a metal case labelled 'Woolsheds slides', with 12 compartments, each able to hold approximately 8 slides. No arrangement order has been identified. Quantity: 24 colour original transparency/ies. Physical Description: Colour transparencies in plastic and cardboard slide mounts.
