Accompanying material - To be found in MS-Papers-3954 The bank, `Moni Peeke o Rua Hepetipa', was set up by Rua Hepetipa at Maungapohatu ca 1907. The ledger appears to have been kept by the first leader of the Council of the Leader of the Lord of This World, to which Rua passed the responsibility of day to day running of the Maungapohatu settlement, the bank and community store (`Te Miini Kerekere').
