Manoy, Adolph, active 1906-1933

Member of Russian Jewish family that immigrated to New Zealand and settled in Stratford, Taranaki, in 1906-1907. Adolph Manoy established a successful drapers business in Stratford that was flourishing there and in Hawera by 1910. The family was also associated with the business Manoy and Hassell in Whangamomona. (Information from Kirsten Warner, 2009. Hawera and Normanby Star, 31 January 1910.
