Shell Oil Company coastal tanker. Built in 1927. Photographed, while used as an an oil tanker, on the patent slip at Evans Bay in 1936. Note on back of file print now at PAColl-6585-84 reads: "Owners: Shell Co of NZ Ltd... was lengthened by 50 feet in 1939."
