Dancer with the New Zealand Ballet Company for 20 years. Born in Scotland, came to NZ aged three, began ballet at four in Auckland under Cheryl Stone, Russell Kerr, Dorothea Ashbridge. Accepted to National School of Ballet in 1981. Graduated as first Shell Scholar to Royal NZ Ballet Company in 1983, promoted to Senior Soloist in 1985. Source: Dance New Zealand / Dawn Sanders.
