Married Malcolm Mason in October 1939, three children (Julia, Tim and Andrew). Potter, writer and editor of the `New Zealand Potter'. Member Crafts Advisory Panel QEII Arts Council in 1976, made a member of the NZ Order of Merit in 2005. Died 22 August 2014. See Dominion Post Obituaries (Saturday, September 13, 2014, C3). Jenny Price writes: 'Helen worked in a vareity of low and high stoneware ranges using three main glazes - tenmouku, bone ash and ying ching, oxidised and reduced.
