Racing car driver. Married with one daughter. Ran motor garage. Competed in the New Zealand Grand Prix of 1959, at Ardmore. Name transcribed from back of file print 1/2-132152. Wrote book on motor sport in 1960s and 1960s "When Motor racing was Fun...and My Part In It". Also wrote for "Powerboat Magazine" and "Boating New Zealand". Participated in ski racing and powerboat racing. Acted as Coastguard volunteer. Died 21 November 2005 after a battle with cancer. Named Bay of Plenty Person of the Year 2005 for fronting Project Hope fundraising campaign for a cancer centre in Tauranga.
