Champion Welsh flyweight boxer. Commonly nicknamed "The Mighty Atom", was so frail-looking and white that he was also referred to as "The Ghost with a hammer in his hand". Other nicknames included "The Indian Famine", "The Tylorstown Terror" and "The Furious Freak".
