Aikman, Colin Campbell, 1820-1906

Son of James Aikman and May Campbell. Auctioneer in Christchurch in 1860s. Merchant trading under the name of Aikman & Wilson. Married Isabella Williams in 1864. Grandfather of Dr Colin Campbell Aikman (b 1919). Died 6 September 1906, at 129 Montreal street, Sydenham, in his 86th year.
