Including a personal letter from 'Toons' [?] from London, a notebook and other loose pages of waiata and Maori culture and some notes relating to Tawhiao [possibly from Kerei Kaihau in 1891], and other handwritten notes relating to waiata and Maori culture [unknown hand, annotated by Cowan]. Typewritten script of 'The fairy bridge on the shining waters'. Also a handwritten copy of 'He haka taparahi' written by A T Ngata.
