This one-day introductory workshop is for teachers and school library staff who are new to using digital resources to find information.
What you'll learn
Find out how to locate and use reliable, credible and free digital resources to inform, ignite and inspire inquiry learning or research — going beyond Google!
Build a broader understanding of the diverse range of digital sources available. Explore ways in which your school or library can make these available to your students.
The workshop includes practical activities, discussions, tips, strategies and hands-on exploration of these valuable resources.
Attend this event with a colleague from your school so you can collaborate during the workshop and back at school.
What's provided, what to bring
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Bring your own device (laptop or tablet) to explore digital resources. A smartphone won't be suitable. There'll be free wifi available.
